Updated 10/6/10:

Internet Explorer 9 and Firefox 4 are available as beta software right now.  As with other beta releases, we do not test against either one when implementing new or improved functionalities.  When the latest final releases of both IE and Firefox have been deployed, we will validate Workspace against these browsers and fully support them.

Kavi software is designed to work on modern browsers. To continue to improve our products and deliver more sophisticated features, we take advantage of many of the latest improvements in web browser technology, including faster JavaScript processing and new standards such as HTML5.  Additionally, as a company that is pivotal in supporting the evolution and adoption of technology standards, Kavi is diligent in its efforts to adhere to the industry best-practice coding standards established by the W3C.  

In 2009, Kavi deployed its new Workspace 5 product to over 90 organizations. The feedback continues to be overwhelmingly positive.  The WS5 core product will continue to evolve in 2010.

To continue with our efforts to make a richer Workspace experience possible, we have decided to discontinue support for outdated browsers. Specifically, Kavi will begin phasing out support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 over the remainder of 2010, as well as browsers no longer supported by their manufacturers.

Though the number of companies impacted is rapidly decreasing, we do understand that this may present an issue for organizations that have browser technologies legislated at the company level. Recent security issues have prompted a national and industry-wide initiative to discontinue support for IE 6.  We are happy to assist organizations towards this goal by helping identify optimal browser settings or to troubleshoot configurations. KAVI TECHNICAL OVERVIEW

Kavi Workspace takes advantage of these browser technologies:
    •    Cascading Style Sheets
    •    Cookies
    •    Javascript
    •    AJAX scripting, which requires ActiveX in older versions of Internet Explorer (IE).

Kavi's dynamic online tools use technologies that work most reliably with the following browsers:

    •    IE 8 for Windows
    •    Firefox 3+ for Windows, Mac, Linux
    •    Safari 4+ for Mac

We also test our software in these browsers.

    •    IE 7, IE 6 for Windows
    •    Chrome for Windows, Mac, Linux
    •    Opera 9+ for Windows, Mac, Linux
